Two-Car Crash Prompts Irvine PD Response

Irvine, CA • March 10th, 2025

On March 10th at approximately 6:32 p.m., officers with the Irvine Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Rockfield Boulevard and Bake Parkway following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, officers located a white passenger car and a black Honda Odyssey minivan with visible rear-end damage. Debris was scattered across multiple lanes, and traffic in the area was significantly disrupted. The intersection, a busy thoroughfare during evening hours, experienced temporary delays as law enforcement worked to manage the scene.

While the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation, authorities have not confirmed whether speed, distraction, or failure to yield were contributing factors.

Paramedics were dispatched as a precaution, though no ambulances were observed leaving the area, and it remains unclear whether any injuries were sustained. Officers assessed the scene and directed traffic around the crash site while gathering preliminary information.
