'No Kings' Protest Disrupts Downtown

The No Kings protest grew tense late into the night as demonstrators and police clashed in several areas of downtown Santa Ana. Officers formed lines to contain the crowd, while some protesters refused to leave, leading to brief physical confrontations and multiple detentions.
The situation began to de-escalate shortly after 1:00 a.m., with the last remaining protesters dispersing at around 1:16 a.m. near 4th Street and Broadway.
Police remained on scene to monitor the area and assist with clearing the streets.
