DUI Driver Causes Serious Multi-Vehicle Collision

Santa Ana, CA • August 4th, 2025

A major multi-vehicle collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Segerstrom Avenue and Flower Street in Santa Ana, after a suspected DUI driver crashed into several vehicles.

At least one individual was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Firefighters had to cut into one of the vehicles to extricate a trapped occupant, highlighting the severity of the crash. Santa Ana police and fire crews responded swiftly, shutting down the intersection as they rendered aid and began their investigation.

The DUI suspect was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
